Everything I Do

展場 wifi 名改為「I Do It For You」。

To change the wifi name of the exhibition venue into “I Do It For You”.

By romanticizing wifi, the work reflects the interweaving of technology and love today, as well as the shared experiences of desiring connection, both digitally and psychologically. Its text choice is based on: 1. Bryan Adams’ eponymous song is related to the collective memory of love; 2. The song mentions “when you find me there you’ll search no more,” which humorously echoes the situation of finding wifi; 3. It is a love confession, applicable to the context of lover and artist/audience.

 With the support of APT
APT is an exhibition series that seeks to investigate the relationship the domestic can create with the artistic. The exhibitions have been taking place yearly in a white-box flat in Bermondsey. It’s curated by MISO & Robin Leverton.
