Accompanied by Tekla Bądarzewska-Baranowska’s A Maiden’s Prayer (1856), the stars* reveal themselves one by one.
The work imitates the dark adaptation of human eye, responding to the illusion of movement and still (animation consists of multiple images; starry night contains lights from different times). Both in a reverse way.
