原本照亮「招牌」的四根螢光燈管，被四支氣球取代。這些氣球在建築拆除期間留下，與建築一同洩氣。作品俏皮滑稽，象徵著時間、空間和家園的流逝，以及它們被遺棄走向未知的未來。如同堅固而持久的房屋面臨消亡，筆直玻璃燈管突然變得輕盈、可塑、臨時。

Four balloons in the sign deflating with the building*.
The four fluorescent tubes that light The Sign normally, are replaced by four twisting balloons. The balloons are bound to stay in The Sign whilst the building is demolished, symbolically deflating together with the building. Whilst playful and comedic, they also stand for a passing of time, space and homes being given up towards an unknown future. Like the strong, permanent house facing its demise, the straight, glass light tubes suddenly become light, moldable and temporary.
*The Function, home to The Sign, was an Offspace** & Atelier in Zurich that was demolished in October 2025.
**Although it is an English term, Offspace is mainly used in German-speaking countries; the actual English equivalent is “artist-run space” or “alternative space” (quoted form Wikipedia).
