(引自 netblocks.org)

Blue ink spreading and then receding in water, set to a music box playing an excerpt of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake (1876) that fades away.
Inspired by Roya Sadat’s Sima’s Song (2024), the work references its use of metaphor, rendering the tragic sense of fate, as well as the isolation of dance.
It was intended for a gallery in Iran, but due to regional instability and a nationwide internet blackout, it fails to get in—just as other videos fail to get out.
Update: On 26 May 2026, internet has started to be restored in Iran, after 2093 hours of near-total isolation from international networks, the longest nationwide internet shutdown in modern history. (quoted from netblocks.org)
